মোঃ মাসুদুল হাসান

Md. Masudul Hasan joined the Ministry of Food as the Secretary on 03 October 2024. He belongs 11^th BCS and has joined BCS (Administration) Cadre in 1993. Basically, he is an Agricultural Economist, obtained his Masters in Production Economics in 1992 from Bangladesh Agricultural University. In addition, he obtained another Masters Degree in Environmental Economics from the University of Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia under AUSAID Scholarship in 2003.

Mr. Hasan has served as Assistant Commissioner in Barisal as Probationer in 1993 and was Assistant Commissioner (land) in Banaripara. He was PS to Divisional Commissioner of Barisal Division for long 4 years. In his carrier he served in the Ministry of Civil Aviation & Tourism, Cabinet Division and Ministry of Expatriate Welfare & Overseas Employment. In the Ministry of Expatriate Welfare & Overseas Employment, he was selected as First Secretary in the Labour Wing of the High Commission of Bangladesh in Kuala Lampur, Malaysia and served there for 5 years from 2007 to 2012. After withdrawal from High Commission, he was posted in the Ministry of Public Administration. He served there as Joint Secretary and Additional Secretary.

In personal life, he is married and father of two daughters.
